教材簡析：

　　本案例是牛津小學英語5a unit4 a部分的教學設計，也是本單元第一課時的教學設計。本單元的核心內(nèi)容是圍繞西方的一個重要節(jié)日――萬圣節(jié)晚會的準備工作展開的一段對話。新<<課標>>要求教師的教學能幫助學生了解世界，認識中西方文化的差異，拓展視野。我認為本書的編者正是圍繞中西方文化意識差異而編寫了本單元的教學內(nèi)容。通過本課的學習教師不僅要幫助學生掌握相關的語言知識，而且要讓學生知道并了解萬圣節(jié)的具體日期、由來、西方家庭如何過萬圣節(jié)和過萬圣節(jié)所需的物品，從而拓展學生的知識面，激發(fā)學生學習英語的興趣，繼而為終生學習英語打下良好的基礎。

　　目標預設：

　　1、能聽得懂、會說、會讀和會拼寫單詞a family,thing,need,a horse

　　2、能聽得懂、會說、會讀單詞halloween,tomorrow,mask,pumpkin, lantern,vase,

　　3、能聽懂、會說、會讀日常交際用語what do you need? we need some… what else do you need?..., please. here’s your change. do you like…？yes, i do./no, i don’t. i like… what do you like? i like…

　　4、讓學生通過本課學習，了解萬圣節(jié)的有關知識，培養(yǎng)學生跨文化交際的意識和能力。

　　教學重點：

　　1、讓學生了解有關萬圣節(jié)的知識。

　　2、讓學生能初步表演本課所學對話。

　　教學難點：

　　1、句型do you like masks?中可數(shù)名詞復數(shù)的正確使用。

　　2、單詞halloween,tomorrow,pumpkin,lantern的正確朗讀。

　　設計理念：

　　本節(jié)課的教學設計，根據(jù)新課標精神，以心理學、建構主義理論為指導，以學生為主體，教師為主導，使英語教學與信息技術相整合，利用多媒體手段進行教學，通過情景設計，以聽聽、說說、動動、唱唱、演演等活動，并在課堂中運用多種方法促使學生多說、多用，形成自主、探究性學習，致力于激發(fā)學生學習的興趣和參與積極性及建立培養(yǎng)自信心上，使學生真正成為學習的主人，讓學生在輕松、愉快的氣氛中自然習得英語。本課不僅要幫助學生掌握相關的語言知識，而且要讓學生知道并了解萬圣節(jié)的具體日期、由來、哪些國家過萬圣節(jié)、西方家庭如何過萬圣節(jié)和過萬圣節(jié)所需的物品。同時培養(yǎng)學生英語的積極情感，在語言實踐中，形成初步的英語語感，打好語音語調(diào)基礎，具備用所學英語進行交流的能力，養(yǎng)成良好的學習習慣，為以后的進一步學習打好語言、情感和學習習慣的基礎。

　　設計思路：

　　本節(jié)課通過師生自由交談，復習四年級學過句型也是本節(jié)課的重要句型do you like…？yes, i do./no, i don’t. i like… what do you like? i like…并引出單詞vase的教學。在通過對西方重要節(jié)日halloween的介紹中引出本課單詞的學習，然后提出halloween這么有意思，我們一起來開一個halloween party，引出本課的句型教學what do you need? we need some… what else do you need?..., please. here’s your change.學完后用所學內(nèi)容編一個又能說又能唱的chant，復習所學內(nèi)容。最后進入本課的課文內(nèi)容學習：讓學生分段聽錄音并循序漸進做相應的練習，跟錄音讀，分角色讀，讓學生逐步理解掌握課文內(nèi)容。

　　教學過程：

　　（設計意圖：兒童心理學特征告訴我們，教唱英語歌是一種很好的教學手段。課前一首歌，是組織進行教學的好方法，它能使學生以飽滿的精神、激昂的情緒，為上好一堂課作前奏。 小學英語教材每個單元后面都有一首英語歌，教師可以充分發(fā)揮其作用。將歌曲放在課堂開始，一來可使學生漸漸進入英語環(huán)境，二來也可以活躍課堂氣氛。）

　　（設計意圖：與學生進行簡單的日常用語的交流，讓學生很快融入英語學習的氛圍，運用舊知，鏈接新知，引入下一步的學習。）

　　（設計意圖：在教課的“呈現(xiàn)”階段，就向?qū)W生們介紹 “萬圣節(jié)”的習俗，點明主題，并圍繞這個主題情景引出所有的單詞、句型的教學。）

　　（設計意圖：把剛學過的單詞和句型設計成一首英語歌曲，配上學生熟悉的《鈴兒響叮當》前半部分的旋律唱，讓學生通過唱英語歌曲，復習剛剛學過內(nèi)容。同時活躍了課堂氣氛，吸引了學生的注意力。）
