T:I can’t find the camera. Where’s the camera?
Ss 不知如何作答.
T:If we can’t see it, we may say “Sorry, I don’t know.”(ppt 出示文字Sorry, I don’t know.)

A:I can’t find the camera. Where’s the camera?
B:Sorry, I don’t know.
(設計意圖:通過物品的消失呈現I can’t find the...,更直觀,學生更容易理解句意,明白該在何種情況下使用.另外,can是牛津小學英語一系列教科書中的重要情態動詞,從起始年級就有意識地鼓勵他們不斷積累總結,可以為今后的學習打下更堅實的基礎.)
2. 拓展操練I can’t find the.... Where’s the...?及各種回答.
過渡: T:We can’t find the camera. Perhaps it’s in the sitting-room.
Look, this is my sitting-room.(掛圖出示客廳圖,地上有一些獨立可移動的物品圖)
① 復習詞匯.
T:What can you see in the picture?
dress/dog/basket/Walkman/frigde/camera/...
② T:Can you help me to clean them? Put the things somewhere you like.
T gives a model: I can’t find the dress. Where’s the dress?
S:It’s on the sofa.(Put the dress on the sofa.)
③ (ppt 出示文字提示: I can’t find the.... Where’s the...? It’s in/on… / Sorry, I don’t know. )
Ss work in pairs.
Show their productions. (A asks, B answers and put.)
④ Conclude: The camera is ...(根據學生擺放的位置.)
3. 學習句型I can’t find (sb.). Where’s he/she? 及回答.
過渡: (ppt出示房屋畫面,其中bedroom和 sitting-room 顯示出來,其余房間看不到內容.)
T:Can you say the names of the left rooms?
Ss:bathroom/study/dining-room/kitchen
(ppt出示房間畫面)Ss read together.
T: I have invited my friends here. Can you see them?
Ss: No.
T: Because we are playing a game, hide and seek. Let’s join them now!
